Religious Education was very focussed (Roman Catholic version of Christianity) and dogmatic.
There was no concept of religion *education* - allowing an informed choice.
We had a brief education regarding Roman and Greek gods and godesses
Other Christian denominations were not mentioned, except perhaps an occasional reference to Eastern Orthodox.
Judaism was touched on - only in context - as part of birth of Christianity
Islam, Hinduism Buddism were never spoken of
Still less - Taoism, Confuscinism, Sikhism, Jainism, Zoastrianism Baha'i
As for Humanism?
