Hello to anyone who remembers me-
I was appointed by Monsignor in the late 1970s and as it was my first teaching job, have very clear memories of my time there(I have just retired early from UCS Hampstead-Boys Independent.)
Even though it was my first job I did realise that the Mons did not do things in the accepted headmasterly way- possibly to do with his version of the Holy Trinity- sweet martini, dry martini and gin- but |I have to say that I loved my job,and it was directly as a result that I stayed in teaching (I was a trained ecologist), and indeed ended up in one of the top boys' schools- so- many thanks to Spike.
