I remember that on the very last day before we broke up for Summer, after O levels done (73 ?), and the next term we would be in our smart new all blue '6th form' blazer, a group of the 67 intake all spent the afternoon ripping each others sleeves, pockets, and anything else they could, to produce a 'punk' version, with stripes and stuffing visible. Spike was truly appalled, but couldn't do much, apart from prohibit any more ripping. Great afternoon fun followed.
The Go Kart question from elsewhere on this site - if it's the same one, The 67 intake built a go kart for something or other, mainly Peter Farr as I remember. Never did really get sorted out - brakes kept failing.
It did get raced around the playground a few times.
