Biopic (plain text only) Stayed on an extra year at Augustines to improve my A-level grades which enabled me to take up a trainee underwriter role with Royal Insurance in St Anne's Square. A year later I was transferred to their graduate management scheme which resulted in a move to their Shrewsbury office in 1980 and have remained in the Shropshire & Welsh borders area ever since After 42 years in various insurance roles including being a co-director of my own business from 1991-2005 and establishing a new South Wales region out of Cardiff for a larger firm from 2005-2010, I retired in December 2019. Been in my forever home since 1988 although my ex-wife moved out in 2008 and now living with my partner Sue - we have 2 sons each. Eventually stopped playing football and tennis but still play lots of golf. I am the 2025 Senior Captain of Llanymynech Golf Club.
