married

I taught at St Augustine's from 1967 until secondary school reorganisation in 1977 when I went to St Matthew's RC High School (New Moston) as Deputy Headteacher.
In January 1982 I became Headteacher of St Mark's RC High School (Didsbury).
Subsequently St Mark's amalgamated with the Hollies High School in 1985 and I was appointed to be the Head of the new school - named The Barlow RC High School. I left headship in 1997 since when I have worked as an independent educational consultant, adviser and inspector.
