Left Augustine's at the end of fourth year due to family relocation. Couldn't wait to get out of the comp I ended up at so spent a few years working with horses then at a textile firm. Ended up getting into finance and working in Hungary for a while. Jacked it all in and spent a few years travelling then working in various countries (favourite Sicily) teaching English as a second language. Now retired on the Isle of Man (oh dear) boating, biking and beering. Overriding memory of Augustine's was that it was a strange place with some strange people (self included) which, perhaps unfortunately, wouldn't ever be allowed to exist today. First boy in my intake ('74) to get the strap (Matthews, running in the corridor), the green room and Spike's office became my regular haunts over the years.
