My Dear Parents
Sad developments have now overtaken the Sharston Mount site and the name of St Augustine’s has passed through a dark era. The thought of your support has been a comfort to me through these times. Let me give you my thanks. However, a new day breaks and we are able to look forwards once more. I am delighted to announce a new future for the Diocesan Grammar School.
May I offer you a cordial welcome to the formal opening of the new site at www.staugs.org
Many of the previous fitments have now been transferred and we hope to recruit many of the former pupils and staff in the coming months.
I am sure that you will all be proud of the effort put in by the former pupils.
I regret to say that the usual request for £1 school fund from each family at the start of this Michaelmas term will have to be foregone on this occasion.
