Lower School (PJF)

Notes on the Lower School Report 1. The boys age is given in years and completed calendar months as on the date on which the report is issued: this date is given at the foot of the page. 2. The academic year starts in September at the end of the summer holidays and goes on until the following September: it is therefore indicated by two calendar years. 3. The academic year at this school is divided into three terms:
4. Assessment of a boy's performance in each subject, as well as his Conduct, diligence, physical Education and General Attainment, are indicated by means of the following scale:
5. Attendance is indicated by showing the number of half-days of absence from the date of the last report to the date of this report. 6. Written reports sent to parents at the end of term are based mainly on terminal examinations. For more information about their sons work and progress, parents are strongly recommended to come to the School to meet the teaching staff whenever the opportunity is arranged. 7.This report is a confidential document sent by the School to the parents. There is never any need to show it to apropective employer. When a boy leaves the School, parents are recommended to ask the Headmaster to give him a reference.
